Assateague is a 37-mile long barrier island on the Atlantic Coast of Maryland and Virginia. When visiting the Maryland district, Federal Duck Stamp holders must purchase a $15 beach parking fee upgrade. Entrance Passes may be used in both the Maryland and Virginia districts.
